Kent Junior League 2010, round 1

Print PDF

A brilliant performance from everyone in the Saxon Crown team in the first round of the Kent Junior League, meant we finished a very respectable third behind RTW Monson and GBM. We were expecting a tough gala as we are the newly promoted team in division two, especially as we were missing some swimmers due to illness and injurys. It was a great team performance but a special mention for Joy Benson-Sule, Conor Mulvanny, Daniel Newhouse, Sian Rowe and Jordan Smith who won their events and the superb boys 13/u relay team of Anton Alexander, Drew Macdonald, Daniel Newhouse and Jordan Smith who won their relays events by more than half a length.

There are two more rounds to go in this competition where hopefully we can do even better. The second round is on the 11th Septmeber, the venue is still to be confirmed.
