Masters success at the Nationals!

Lauren and Kat had a great weekend at the short course Nationals in Sheffield. Lauren picked up 6 medals in total, against some stiff competition in her age group, including a gold in the 100m backstroke in an amazing time of 1:06.65. Kat managed PBs in 4 of her events, the highlight being a 4th place finish in the 1500m freestyle. You can see the drama unfold on our facebook page. As well as the older swimmers achieving lots of Pbs and medals, it was the first time some of the very young swimmers competed in a proper gala. The Kent County Championships 2024 included 31 Saxon Crown qualifiers and they did us proud achieving 78 PBs, 59 top 10 finalists and 7 bronze medalists.
The boys and girls teams both finished in15th place giving us an overall placing of 14th amongst the 36 clubs in Kent. Well done all and special congratulations to the following for achieving bronze medals!
