National Arena League Round One success

The National Arena League is the most competitive and prestigious League that we swim in, and for the past few years we have been in the London Division One league.
The first round of the new season was held on 14 October at our home pool, Glassmill, and the Saxon Crown team showed a great display, securing a great 2nd place with 244 points!
One highlight is that no Saxon Crown swimmer was disqualified, a feat rarely seen in such events.
Overall we got nine 1st places, six 2nd places and three 3rd places.
The next round will be at Luton on 11 November and we will be aiming to do well enough to secure a place in the top-half gala for December.

The Kent County Championships 2024 included 31 Saxon Crown qualifiers and they did us proud achieving 78 PBs, 59 top 10 finalists and 7 bronze medalists.
The boys and girls teams both finished in15th place giving us an overall placing of 14th amongst the 36 clubs in Kent. Well done all and special congratulations to the following for achieving bronze medals!
