The British Masters and Senior Age Group Championships 2017 took place in Aberdeen on 16 June.

Rebecca Stewart, Kat Stevens and Lauren Willcox took home 7 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze medals between them, with 12pbs across 20 swims.

Rebecca smashed the 50m British freestyle record for the 50-54 age group - hitting 28.82 from the previous 29.10 – and is officially now a British record holder.
Rebecca won a total of four golds over the weekend and it also took a British record to beat her into second place in the 100m freestyle.

Kat beat her 400m and 800m pbs on her way to winning the 1500m - where she won in a new Kent record.
Kat went on to beat her times again in the 400m and 800m events themselves picking up a second gold medal in the 800m.

Lauren won medals in each of her events including a gold in the 100m backstroke.

The following weekend at the Kent Championships - held on 25 June - Kat continued her success, achieving pbs in the 100m free and 50m fly. She was joined by John Tennant, who won both the 50m and 100 free.

Big congratulations to all of them!
