White Horse League - age 9yrs & above
Swimmers are invited by the Head Coach to join the team in representing Saxon Crown SC.
Criteria for being invited to join a team include attendance & performance which are just a couple of things the Head Coach will look at when inviting a swimmer.
As part of a competitive swimming club we ask that you attend all team events when invited
White Horse League Meetings - all Saturday evenings Warm up 17:00 - Finish approx 20:00

Saturday 14th March
HOST CLUB.
Gravesend SC - will be the host club - they will bring a float and payment machine - cover the door - bank the money at the end and send a payment to the WHL account.
Gravesend SC - will bring along and distribute refreshments.
SATURDAY 14TH
Please note that Saxon Crown will also be hosing their own open on the Saturda which will be finished by 5pm (possibly earlier) we would appreciate swimmers not entering on poolside before the open has finished the session
unless of course you are already attending the open for Health & Safety reasons.

Sadly, Bromley are not able to join us for round 1, so if you can bring an additional official to ensure we have the recommended number that would be greatly appreciated

Chris Harding and Darrel Adams will be your referees for the evening. To note that you will need to appoint a Starter on the night from within the team of officials. Each Club brings along a minimum of 2 officials. (more for Round 1)

I will complete the Promoter Report Form

It is with great sadness, that we report the passing of John Eady, the father of Matt Eady, a long time head coach at Saxon Crown. John himself coached the Masters' squad and is fondly remembered by our longer serving members. On Friday 14th March over 270 swimmers from twenty-seven of the Borough’s primary schools arrive at Glass Mill Leisure Centre to compete in this year’s Lewisham Primary School Gala. The event was organised by Saxon Crown Swimming Club, supported by Lewisham Council and GLL, who provided pool space and staff free of charge. For a few years now Team Saxon made a presence at Kent County competitions. Going from strength to strength even in 2025 it was great to see many more swimmers fast enough to participate in this tough event. And we did not disappoint.40 of our fastest athletes amongst which some new qualifiers competed in 214 events performing incredibly well swimming many pbs and regional times and making 88 top 10 finals in all stroke and distances, achieving 6 bronze, 10 silver and 3 gold medals making us top 8/9(points not updated after 1500 event yet) club in Kent compared to 14th last year. Moreover swimmers showed great determination, team sprint and commeraderie cheering at every event as well as competing at their best.
It is a joy to see so many happy and succesful swimmers wearing the colors of Saxon Crown and making coaches proud!
