Ok, so we didn't win round two of the Arena League in St Albans but we probably did have the very best face painting as demonstrated here by Freya. Some fabulous races by Saxon Crown Swimmers in the Short course London Winter Regionals. Nearly everyone achieved really good PBs and if they didn't they were mighty close. All swimmers here from left to right, Coach Sergio, Maisie, James, Erin, Ayotunde, Callum, and Kombo. You can't see May she was hiding behind Kombo.... Saxon Crown hosted a successful open gala on 5th and 6th October attracting big clubs from all over London. There were several PBs for Saxon Crown swimmers, hot heats aplenty and fun, frolics and fast swimming throughout the whole weekend. An exciting day at Glass Mill where the Kent Relays were held. Saxon Crown 12 year old girls won 2 silvers in the 200 im and 200 free relays only just pipped at the post by Maidstone on both occasions. There were some really good results in the other events too but the 2 silvers were the stand out achievements against some of the very best clubs in Kent. The Masters called on Angie Willis and Tristram Kennedy Harper to help the Better, the social enterprise that runs Lewisham's leisure facilities, to field a team of swimmers aged 60+ to compete in the 2024 London-wide Borough club competition designed to encourage active lifestyles in this age group. Competing with a Better employee, as a first time entry team they achieved a 4th place finish, among twenty Boroughs competing. Well done team! - 21 Sep 2024Round 3 Kent Junior League

This year Masters squad sent a record 17 swimmers (including a Perf A interloper) to Dock 2 Dock to take on distances ranging from 3-10km. We achieved no less than 6 top 3 places in gender/age categories in the 3 and 5km. Looking forward to next year already!
