23 Nov 2024Saxon Crown Swimmers bag Kent Times and PBs at the BLSC Chatham Winter OpenA great Weekend for Saxon Crown Swimmers at the BLSC Winter Open. Lots of swimmers achieved Kent QTs and consideration times as well as some terrific PBS.
17 Nov 2024Saxon Crown Masters 3rd in Frank Rider Cup at ErithSaxon Crown Masters equalled their third place of last year with a good team of Competitive and Fitness squad members. It was a first gala for some and much enjoyed by all. Coach Jon even signed up!
09 Nov 2024Arena League Round 2Ok, so we didn't win round two of the Arena League in St Albans but we probably did have the very best face painting as demonstrated here by Freya. Having been promoted to the premier division we still managed to pull off some commendable swims against really tough competition. Well done Saxon Crown!!!
02 Nov 2024Winter Regionals 2024Some fabulous races by Saxon Crown Swimmers in the Short course London Winter Regionals. Nearly everyone achieved really good PBs and if they didn't they were mighty close. All swimmers here from left to right, Coach Sergio, Maisie, James, Erin, Ayotunde, Callum, and Kombo. You can't see May she was hiding behind Kombo.... Ellie also took part but sadly missed the picture,
06 Oct 2024Saxon Crown host a successful Autumn Showdown open galaSaxon Crown hosted a successful open gala on 5th and 6th October attracting big clubs from all over London. There were several PBs for Saxon Crown swimmers, hot heats aplenty and fun, frolics and fast swimming throughout the whole weekend. Our Autumn Showdown has become a regular feature on the Swimming Calender.
29 Sep 2024Two silvers for Saxon Crown in the Kent RelaysAn exciting day at Glass Mill where the Kent Relays were held. Saxon Crown 12 year old girls won 2 silvers in the 200 im and 200 free relays only just pipped at the post by Maidstone on both occasions. There were some really good results in the other events too but the 2 silvers were the stand out achievements against some of the very best clubs in Kent. 28 Sep 2024Two Masters Swimmers Compete for Team Lewisham who came 4th in the annual GLL BeThe Masters called on Angie Willis and Tristram Kennedy Harper to help the Better, the social enterprise that runs Lewisham's leisure facilities, to field a team of swimmers aged 60+ to compete in the 2024 London-wide Borough club competition designed to encourage active lifestyles in this age group. Competing with a Better employee, as a first time entry team they achieved a 4th place finish, among twenty Boroughs competing. Well done team!
21 Sep 2024Round 3 Kent Junior LeagueA great final Kent Junior League event was had by all with some great swims, pbs and lots of fun.
14 Sep 2024Saxon Crown compete in Dock to DockThis year Masters squad sent a record 17 swimmers (including a Perf A interloper) to Dock 2 Dock to take on distances ranging from 3-10km. We achieved no less than 6 top 3 places in gender/age categories in the 3 and 5km. Looking forward to next year already!
