We had a successful gala at the Black lion regional chaser on the first weekend of April. 37 Saxon Crown swimmers travelled to Medway Park to swim in some of the 160 entries Saxon Crown had put forward. The results were fantastic, with some swimmers obtaining their first official times, others their first regional times, and more who managed to improve their personal bests and regional entry times. It was a fantastic weekend, well done everyone!

By the end of the weekend Saxon swimmers were happily clinking their medals with an impressive medal tally of 3 golds,12 silvers, and 8 bronzes.

Bronze: Erin O'Hara in 200 IM and 100 Fly, Alex Forsyth & Maddison Williams in 200 Free, Timi Adelowo in 50 Breast, Ellie Harden & Paris Fairhurst in 100 Back, Kombo Kachildza in 100 Fly.

Silver: Jakab Varga, Ruby Gold, Marlena Van der Ploeg, Maisie Van der Ploeg in 200 Free, Jakab Varga in 50 Breast, Darragh Brady in 100 Back, Ayotunde Dauda in 200 IM and 100 Fly, Paris Fairhurst 100 Fly, 200 Breaststroke & 50 Back, Madison Williams 50 Back.
