The Saxon swimmers did themselves proud at the second round of the Arena League in Luton on 12 November, clinching third place on the night and a spot in the top-half finals round in December.

The night started a little slowly, with the team in fifth place after ten races but we soon found our speed and after a few first place results, we steadily climbed to fourth and then third.   The girls 15 and under freestyle team set the tone for great relay swims by winning their race, which was followed by victories for the same girls team in the 50m medley relay and the boys under 15 in the same relay.   There were also individual wins for Mateusz, Ione and Luke and some great swims from some of the younger swimmers having to swim up an age group. 

We look forward to welcoming all the other clubs for the final round at our own Glassmill on 10 December.
