The club is very pleased to offer our warmest congratulations to one of our young swimmers, 10 year old Victoria Sharashkina, who won three gold medals (in the figures, solo and team events) plus a silver (in the duet event) at the Artistic Swimming National Group Championships on 25th and 26th March 2023. As a result, Victoria is now taking part in the National Artistic Swimming Youth Squad training sessions. We offer Victoria our very best wishes for continued success."

On Sunday, 26th May, Saxon Crown swimmers plus family members and GLL staff are “swimming the channel” at Glass Mill to raise funds for our lovely Jess O’Hara who has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. - 26 Apr 2024Congratulations to Saxon Crown Masters, Alex and Lara in the Swimathon 5K triple
On Friday 26th April, Masters swimmers Alex Williams and team mate Lara Proctor took part in the Swimathon Triple 5km challenge but with a twist: they did it in ONE DAY!!!. They swam at 3 different pools across London, set 2 PB times for the 5k distance and raised £1,300 for Marie Curie, Cancer Research and the Swimathon Foundation. As well as the older swimmers achieving lots of Pbs and medals, it was the first time some of the very young swimmers competed in a proper gala. The Kent County Championships 2024 included 31 Saxon Crown qualifiers and they did us proud achieving 78 PBs, 59 top 10 finalists and 7 bronze medalists.
The boys and girls teams both finished in15th place giving us an overall placing of 14th amongst the 36 clubs in Kent. Well done all and special congratulations to the following for achieving bronze medals!
